About Cult Media
Cult Media builds creator-led ad systems for consumer brands. We source and manage the creators, produce the volume of content paid social eats through, and run the media against it.
A large share of our revenue is tied to the results we produce rather than a flat retainer. That shapes everything about how we hire: we need people who can own a number, not just a task list.
The role
This is a sales seat as much as a support one. If you like the commercial side of a client relationship, this is the job: keeping brands happy is the floor, and growing the account from there is the actual target.
The four Rs
- Retain. Spot risk early. Flat weeks, quiet clients, and slipped deliverables all get escalated well before renewal.
- Resell. Know every account well enough to see where more spend or more content would genuinely pay, and make that case.
- Referrals. Ask, systematically, at the moments a client is happiest.
- Reviews. Turn good months into public proof, on the record, from the people who lived it.
What you’ll do
- Own onboarding: assets, access, expectations, and a clear first 30 days for every new brand.
- Run the weekly and monthly client calls, including the reporting behind them.
- Translate account performance into plain language a founder can act on.
- Sit between the client and the media and creative teams so neither side is guessing.
- Own retention, expansion, and the referral and review pipeline as real numbers you report on.
What we’re looking for
- You genuinely like selling. Asking for the expansion, the referral, and the review is the part you enjoy, not the part you avoid.
- Account management or client success experience at an agency, ideally in paid social or content.
- Enough marketing literacy to hold a real conversation about ROAS, CPA, and creative performance.
- Calm under pressure. You can deliver a bad month without losing the client.
- Excellent written English and genuinely organised follow-up.
- Available to work around US Eastern hours.
Why join
- Real budgets, real brands. You’ll work on accounts with meaningful spend and real revenue riding on them, not test accounts and pitch decks.
- Remote-first, async-sane. Work from wherever you do your best work. We overlap for the calls that matter and leave the rest of your day alone.
- Performance upside. We get paid on results, and we share that upside with the people producing them.
- Small team, visible work. You won’t be layer seven of a department. What you ship is seen, used, and attributed to you.
- Structured first 30 days. Every hire gets a real onboarding: accounts, docs, and a named person to ask. Not sink-or-swim.
- Direct feedback. We tell you what’s working and what isn’t, quickly and without theatre, because we want you to be excellent.
